Specifically, our electric fence version is engineered to combine the high security protection of an electric fence system with the superior gate performance that a true cantilever gate design provides. So, and with several somewhat basic design changes to our standard product, we offer a much enhanced, and fully integrated, perimeter fence line security solution.
The standard spear top arrangement upon our gate leaf is eliminated and substituted for the mounting of steel RHS mounting posts suitable for the installation of eight strands of electric wires.

Each Assure Cantilever Sliding Gate System is designed with quality and innovative automation features as standard. An industrial three-phase drive motor, PLC control logic, frequency invertor and proximity sensors are some of the highly advanced products used in ABC’s product range. The sophisticated PLC manages all gate systems to ensure safety, reliability, and intelligent security gate functionality. The PLC allows for special features and readily allows for auxiliary equipment to be added and without major parts redundancy. Traffic management devices such as traffic lights, gate monitoring and high security access functions are benefits of our programming features. Indeed, an expander unit for the PLC may be added for additional functions.

Our main support and rolling platform extremely well balanced and facilitate fast, smooth, and efficient operation. Our Premium Cantilevered Sliding Gate System is designed to operate reliably at variable speeds. These are fully adjustable to a lightning fast 1-metre per second of gate travel but is normally set at 650mm per second.

Gate Engineering

The cantilevered sliding gate design is based on the principles of counter balancing. This proven Australian design is engineered to our unique and exacting specifications with a strong emphasis on safety.

Our cantilever sliding gate systems comprise of several critical mechanical modules. These modules consist of the gate main support tower, the gate leaf, the gate back rail, and the end post. When bolted together, the main tower and back rail form the main support and rolling platform for the gate leaf. The gate leaf is then attached to this platform with two back-check plate roller sets. The roller sets, when bolted on, lock the sliding gate leaf within the confines of the gate back rail.

The Cantilever Sliding Gate System is then bolted to a concrete footing that has been specifically engineered to provide adequate weight to counterbalance the gate system. This combination of gate design, and the concrete footing allows the gate to roll out over the relevant road opening, without tipping or sagging, and basically traveling in free air.

Road widths of up to 10-metres (for a single gate) are standard offerings within our Premium Cantilever Sliding gate range. The ABC cantilever sliding gate systems eliminates the need for clumsy trolley wheels, roadway tracks, rails, or overhead supports.
