Preventative Maintenance

Your staff, and the integrity of critical infrastructure are essential to your business, as is the continuous protection that your automated vehicle and pedestrian gate systems, provide.

As most systems are an engineered combination of mechanical and electrical componentry, regular on-going maintenance regimes are necessary to:

• Ensure that all safety systems are operating efficiently, correctly and guarantee safe systems of work.
• Minimise equipment downtime which will compromise the security of your site.
• Help eliminate costly personal injury, and vehicle damage incidents.
• Prevent premature wear to components that occur when the system is incorrectly adjusted or operating well out of the recommended adjustment parameters.
• Make certain that only suitably qualified and trained tradesmen will work on your security system.
• Guarantee that only quality spare parts and componentry is used in your gate system/s.

We’ll provide a custom preventative maintenance regime to suit your site requirements whether it be every three (3) months, six (6) monthly, or annually (12).  Suffice to say were happy to provide on-going advice on your needs based upon gate history and gate opening and closing data recorded by our industrial gate systems.

Our Procedures

• Arrange for a detailed written service agreement (if applicable) which will provide specific details of your service regime, contact points and detailed on-going costs.
• By phone arrange for a suitable and convenient time to attend site.
• Discuss site rules, safety and induction requirements. Provide SWMS for maintenance upon request.
• Ensure that a fully trained electrical tradesmen attends site (they may be accompanied by an apprentice or technician) with the necessary spares to conduct gate servicing.
• Upon completion of the service, our tradesman will complete a detailed checklist, and report, upon their wireless device. They’ll then discuss the aspects of the report with your designated site contact, and have the report co-signed.
• Before fitting any spare parts, we’ll discuss what’s required, why it’s required, and provide indicative costs, plus labour, if applicable.
• Via email we’ll send you a detailed gate service/maintenance report and checklist.
